More than 50-percent of marriages end in divorce. As the holidays rapidly approach, and stress reaches an all-time peak in most marriages, shuttling to and from families, often feelings of stress, anxiety and inadequacy take told.
Statistics show that couples that marry between the ages of 20 to 24 years have the highest divorce rate. Could it be that our nation is marrying too young, feeling pressured to live the dream of a white picket fence, a dog and 2.2 children? Statistics also show that married couples that have children together are often less likely to ultimately get divorced; however, studies on the flip side show that not having children can also lead to divorce.
