Where The Fuel To Produce Electricity In The UK Comes From

Posted by on Jun 13, 2012 in Featured, Nature | 0 comments

The UK gets more than half of the fuel it uses to produce electricity from sources outside its own borders. Some of the fuel comes from as far afield as Australia.

This global net of trade is hugely inefficient and also leads to the problem of energy monopolies and does not take into consideration any renewable energy companies.

If we are to tackle this problem, we need to look at ways of producing electricity without the reliance on other countries. We need to look at renewable energy or green electricity in the UK.
